- Please check with your instructor if you have any questions about your Spring ’24 final grade (which you’ll find in myBama no later than May 7, 2024).
- You may appeal your final grade to the Director of First-Year Writing, should you wish. Note that an appeal is a thoughtfully reasoned request to change a grade. It is not an opportunity to rant, nor does it guarantee a grade change.
- Download the FWP Grade Appeal Form, provide the required information, and e-mail the form to Dr. Luke Niiler (lpniiler@ua.edu).
- Spring 2024 grade appeals should be submitted no earlier than Wednesday, May 8, 2024 and no later than Wednesday, May 29, 2024. No appeals will be reviewed outside this time frame.
- You will receive a response by Friday, June 7, 2024.
- Please note: Midterm grades cannot be appealed.
